8 Tips for a Successful Party

Tip #1: If hosting a party, provide two separate rooms if possible. One room is dedicated for serious fans who intend on watching the entire game. The other room is for guests who are more concerned with the party, conversing with others and commercial watching.

Tip #2: Know your audience and keep your talking to a minimum if you notice someone is really focused on the game. Many people look forward to the commercials and half time show.  

Tip #3: Don’t bring your children unless the invitation specifically states they are welcome.

Tip #4: Bring plenty of snacks and a themed drink. Examples:

Carolina Panthers- Carolina Tea 
2 oz Sweet Carolina Sweet Tea Vodka
2 oz Lemonade

½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice (from 1 orange)
1 oz orange flavored vodka
1 oz coconut flavored vodka
Blue colored turbinado sugar (to rim the martini glass)

Tip #5: Be conscious about dissing the other team if you have a mix of fans present. Be respectful and keep the event fun.

Tip #6: Take up as little space as possible and be fair with the seating.

Tip #7: Discreetly help your host clean up. At the end of each quarter, help keep things clean by picking up cups, plates, napkins and throw away any garbage you see lying around.

Tip #8: Leave shortly after the game ends. Your hosts are exhausted and want to have their home back.
